Interpretation and Definitions

• Account means a unique account created for you to access MoodLens.
• Application / App refers to MoodLens, developed and operated by Kachi Studios.
• Company means Kachi Studios, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
• Country refers to Canada.
• Device means any device that can access the App such as a smartphone or tablet.
• Personal Data means any information that can identify you as an individual.
• Service refers to the MoodLens journaling and analysis app.
• You means the individual using the App.

Information We Collect and Store

• Email address (used for login and account management only)
• Encrypted journal entries (stored as unreadable encrypted data - we cannot read your content)
• Encrypted AI-generated insights and trend analysis (also stored as unreadable encrypted data)
• Usage data (app version, session time, feature usage - anonymized where possible)
• We do NOT collect or store: names, phone numbers, payment details, demographic information, readable journal content, readable AI insights, or your encryption keys

How We Protect Your Journal Entries

• Client-Side Encryption: All journal entries and AI-generated insights are encrypted on your device using AES-256 encryption before they ever leave your phone. Only you hold the keys to decrypt and read your content.
• Zero-Knowledge Architecture: We cannot read your journal entries or AI insights. Everything is stored as encrypted blobs that are mathematically impossible for us to decrypt without your personal encryption key.
